I'm not normally one to complain too much about the weather. Here in Wisconsin, the moto is "if you don't like the weather, wait a week, it'll be completely different." However, I am officially sick of winter. I can't remember this ever happening before, but it has now. We've had a couple of nice weeks, hitting the 40's, and a couple of days it even made it to the 50's. And then Friday happened. Yes, Friday, March 21st. The first day of spring. Yes, that season where flowers are supposed to start blooming. What happened on Friday? Fifteen inches of snow happened.
Okay, so living in Wisconsin, I'm quite used to seeing snow in March (or even April, and sometimes even May or June). But fifteen inches is too much. Especially after we've already had more snow this winter than I can remember. In six winters in our house, this is the first time I've actually wanted to get a snowblower after I've finished shoveling. I'd already planned on getting one next year (since I never had the chance to do so until they were sold out everywhere around here), and I was hoping that I wouldn't have to worry about it again this winter. Almost all of the snow had melted, the grass was starting to look green. Now it looks like the middle of January again. Of course, it's all melting already, but it's still very irritating.
